Find a Dentist Help

Can't find the dentist you're looking for? Try these troubleshooting tips:

  1. Be accurate and specific
  2. Remember search defaults
  3. Last names
  4. Postal codes
  5. Boroughs of the former City of Toronto

  1. Be accurate and specific
Enter as much information as possible, ensuring you receive the most refined results. To the best of your knowledge, make sure spelling is correct, including using periods for cities such as
    "St. Catharines"

  2. Remember search defaults
    i. Search radius for postal code searches is 2km.

ii. All matching results are listed in random order, except when searching by exact postal code, in which case, they are listed in order of closest match. To scroll through all matches, select the “Next” link at the top right of the search listings.

  3. Last names
    i. Search results will match any part of the last name entry, in whole or in part

ii. If you’re unsure regarding spaces, or between “Mc” and “Mac,” simply enter the part you do know. For example, searching for “Donald” will return both McDonald and MacDonald last names. Searching for “Costa” will return both Da Costa and DaCosta

  4. Postal codes
    i. Search radius for postal code searches is 2km

ii. Enter either the first three characters or all six characters of postal codes. No spaces or capitals necessary

iii. To narrow or widen your search area, you may change the search radius by increments of as small as 0.1km

  5. Boroughs of the former City of Toronto
For searches within Toronto, some member addresses use one of the former City of Toronto boroughs rather than “Toronto.” If you don’t find a member listed under Toronto, try changing the “City” to one of the following:

  6. East York
  7. Etobicoke
  8. North York, or
  9. Scarborough
